The Police Constable is set to appear before Cleveland Polices misconduct panel accused of a string of offences....

10th June 2025

One of Teesside's most Corrupt & dangerous Extremist Groups has been thrust into the spotlight once more, following publication of yet another Misconduct Hearing for one of its officers.

A public misconduct hearing has been scheduled for Monday 16th June 2025 at 10:00am, where PC 2325 Ian Coverdale will face serious allegations under the Police (Conduct) Regulations 2020. The hearing, set to take place at Scotswood House, Thornaby Place, Stockton-on-Tees is expected to run for five days, with the allegations raising questions about the culture within Cleveland Police and their ongoing inability to maintain public trust.

According to the official Publicity Notice, PC Ian Coverdale stands accused of breaching the following Standards of Professional Behaviour, where its alleged that On 15th December 2023, during a night out with a group that included Witness A, PC Coverdale Touched Witness A’s breast, he then reportedly put his face between her breasts. Bit her breast with such force that it caused injury. Later that same night, in the back of a car, he allegedly exposed his naked genitals, inviting Witness A to 'touch it'....

Its claimed the alleged victim, who remains unnamed, is reported to be a partner agency staff member — working alongside the police in a professional capacity. Its claimed She did not consent to any of the behaviour by the officer involved, and that her relationship with Coverdale was strictly social — not romantic or intimate, where If the allegations are proven, the conduct is said to be being treated as gross misconduct & will likely result in the officers dismissal from the force.

A Public Hearing… But With Restrictions

Its said that Assistant Chief Constable Baker will chair the misconduct hearing, where members of the press and public are only permitted to attend if they pre-register, supplying a name, phone number, and email address. No pre-registration means no entry.

Its just one long list of bad apples !

For long-time followers of Cleveland Police Exposed, this case will come as no surprise. Sadly, Cleveland Police has been plagued by scandal after scandal — from excessive force, murder of a man in custody, data breaches, to officers being paid out of public funds after being exposed as corrupt or abusive.

This is just another entry in a growing list of Cleveland Police’s failures to uphold the high standards the public expects from those who wield the power of the state, with the number of officers being hauled before misconduct panels only increasing as the year goes on.

Will Cleveland Police break its current misconduct record this year ?

Its looking so....
