The now suspended police constable working for Cleveland Police remains in custody, pending a hearing at Newton Aycliffe Magistrates Court today.

A Police Constable working for Cleveland Police has been charged with ten counts of engaging in sexual activity with a child and one count of perverting the course of justice with the officer set to appear before Newton Aycliffe Magistrates Court today.

30 year old PC Nathan Henderson from Norton, Teesside appeared before Newton Aycliffe Magistrates court, where no plea was given. No application for bail was made.

The officer was suspended from duty as from the 28th July 2025.
