Hartlepool Firm Collapses into Liquidation Owing Its Creditors Over £79,000..

The firm, trading from an address in Hartlepool was subject to a creditors application to be liquidated following the accrual of numerous outstanding debts.

A Hartlepool-based company has gone into liquidation after reportedly owing more than £79,000 to its various creditors.


Diamond Drainage & Groundworks Limited was formally placed into liquidation by its creditors on 7th October 2025, according to documents seen by The Teesside & Durham Post. Reports show the company had outstanding debts totalling approximately £79,220.


The breakdown of debts includes around £14,500 owed to trade creditors, approximately £42,000 owed to banks, and a £3,000 balance on a government-backed Bounce Back Loan. HM Revenue & Customs is also listed among the creditors, with a reported claim against the company’s remaining assets of around £20,000.


The liquidation process is being handled by Begbies Traynor, based at Level Q, Sheraton House, 2a Surtees Way, Surtees Business Park, Stockton-on-Tees (TS18 3HR).
