A Hartlepool-based metal fabrication company has been placed into creditors’ voluntary liquidation, according to a formal notice of appointment seen by the Teesside & Durham Post.
Unitised Fabrications Limited, specialising in the fabrication of metal for the construction industry, reportedly appointed liquidators appointed on the 30th April 2026.
The company’s based at Queens Meadow Business Park, Hartlepool had previously traded under the names Deepdale Structures Limited and Deepdale Holdings Limited, with the most recent unaudited financial statements covering the year ending 30 November 2024, revealing the company had around 20 employees, its unknown at this time as to whether any of those jobs will be saved...
The news comes just days after planning permission for up to 677,000 sq ft of employment floorspace alongside full planning permission for 14 employment buildings on land at the 150-acre Queens meadow Business Park estate was approved by Hartlepool Borough Council as part of a national AI Growth Zone bid, with the fabrication business liquidation said to be yet another casualty of the wider troubles within the Construction industry.
Liquidators for Unitised Fabrications Limited have been named as Steven Philip Ross (IP No. 9503) and Shaun Hudson (IP No. 31192) both of FRP Advisory Trading Limited, F17 Evolve Business Centre, Cygnet Way, Houghton le Spring, Tyne and Wear, DH4 5QY
